Some things to be aware of when visiting

Current Customer Guidelines for the Flying Childers Inn (ready for re-opening on the 4th July 2020)

● Be aware that customers may only sit in the pub in groups of up to two households
with no more than 4 to a table. Please be aware that seating is extremely limited.

● If you feel ill or are displaying symptoms of Covid 19, please stay home.

● Hand sanitiser will be available on entry to the pub and on entry to the toilets – please use.

● If eating/ drinking in the pub, you must be seated before ordering. You will not be
able to stand and drink.

● One person only at the bar to order drinks and food. There will be a line on the floor
where you will need to stand.

● If eating or drinking outside (in the car park or garden), you must be stood round a
barrel or seated at a table. These have been placed according to social distancing
rules. Please do not gather outside the pub.

● If seated outside, you will need to place your order through the window in the porch.
Only one person in the porch at a time. If there is someone in there, please queue
outside on the pavement.

● Lunches will be available as usual at 12-2pm Wednesday – Sunday. Lunches will be
in the form of picnic lunches for the time being. These can be taken away or eaten on
the premises. This is to limit staff contact with plates. If you are eating outside, please
dispose of litter in the bins provided.

● Toilets will be one person in at a time. (One in the male toilet, one in the female.)
Please wait at your table or by the fireplace in the top end if someone is in there. Do
not queue in the toilet corridor.

● Games such as darts and dominoes will not be available for use at the time being.

● Takeaway pints and food will still be available for collection.

● The pub reserves the right right to cease serving either individuals, or as a whole* should customers fail to adhere to the rules put in place.

● You will need to provide your name and number if you visit the pub. This can be submitted via our website via the form below, or given to a member of staff during your visit. This will be used to contact you if there is a case of Covid in the pub. Your data will be deleted after 21 days.
